Well....5 months have passed since then. They all looked alike the day they were born. But today........ they look much different!
Recently, we moved all of our young chickens into the "big house", with the "big girls (and boys)." They weren't too thrilled about this at first. But they have adjusted nicely.
Two of the chickies turned out to be roosters,
and 2 are hens.
Yesterday was an exciting day, because one the girls laid her first egg. I found the lone egg in the chicken yard! It was a cute little egg that couldn't compare to the size eggs that the "big girls" lay. But we'll eat it, just the same!
